I am losing my mind...

If anybody knows me, they know very well I hold a prejudice against people that are obese. They have an unapologetic attitude towards everything. Sure, not all obese people are this way, but most of them have this "cater to me" type of attitude that really just sets me off. Their diets consist of unhealthy foods, generally consumed in portions that are unnecessary, and of course they are lazy. I could go on and on about the cons of obese people, I honestly could, but just try living with one. Most obese people have immediate family that are also obese...no surprises. People who are fit, or in shape, do not...no surprises. I am currently living with one of the fattest people i have ever met in my life. I can only think of 2 other people that I personally know that are fatter than him. And the 2 fat people I know are the kindest, sweetest dudes I know. I am just venting. But, next time you see a fat person think of two specific questions. "Why is there a condiment stain on that fat persons shirt?" and "Man, add this shit up...obesity is wasting so many materials on a mass scale!"

Who fucking cares? Everything she said was well deserved. You wouldn't hear Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, or Mark Levin say anything about Pat Robertson when he says something completely out of line. Natural Light drinking, Audioslave listening, pro life, ass backwards morons just can't fathom what is going on. The religion they love, fail to keep, and 'practice' in their mind is in risk of being stolen. Ugh, I can't even think clearly I am so mad. I will come to this at another time.

We aren't living in the end times...

Before I left for Tulsa I was arguing with a friend of mine over politics. He believes babies shouldn't go unborn, Jesus is his savior, was home schooled, loves guns, and so forth. He thinks Obama sucks. And maybe Obama does suck. We don't know yet. My friend is a firm believer that Obama wants to turn our country into a socialist nation. Well, the definition of socialism is surely losing its integrity these days isn't it? A 3 percent income tax hike isn't exactly what I call socialism. He had some things that I could agree on though, that Obama wants 18-24 year olds to serve mandatory community service or in the military. I think that is very Hitler esque in my opinion. And I'm not exactly against having guns either. But the problem with people like my buddy is that their world view is parallel with post-davidian Christian beliefs. When I was growing up in church there was always a sermon once every 2 months about the END TIMES!!! The book of Revelation. Any natural disaster, school shooting, or any other media frenzy exaggeration was used as semi-proof of end times and how we are living in them. Now, if you love unborn babies, owning more than 1 fiream, Jesus, and America, there is a good chance your aren't taking it easy when your gun rights are threatened, or any of the previously mentioned things you love. I'm not going to act like I love Obama and he is right on everything. I'm not necessarily sure some things are going to work. Despite the fact I am fiscal conservative, I think some things on the economy may go smoothly. The auto-industry make over, creating jobs to produce clean energy, more tax breaks for the less fortunate, and reducing health care costs go almost hand in hand with how I roll...so we will see. As for social issues...Obama is my man. Keep killing babies (haha), lets get these gays married so they'll just shut the fuck up, let gays adopt, legalize all drugs, and protect our borders (I doubt Obama doing this, John McCain wanted to grant all illegals amnesty so fuck the world, right?) those are some things I would like to see in 4-8 years. I think with a Democratic controlled congress we might see the legalization of drugs in the country. Who knows? As far as gun rights...the government putting restrictions on your firearms isn't something I necessarily agree with it, but chill the fuck out. If you want to keep your firearms, be responsible and don't go shooting the black dude running the show...that isn't responsible firearm ownership. Fuck it, I'm done with this.

It is only fitting...

that I received a phone call from an old friend from my days with Covenant today. His name is Tony. He's about 50 years old, sweet old black dude from Detroit. We broke the rules one night with a couple of other drivers and took a cab to a local bar in Tennessee. There was karoke (sp) there that night and we song Strawberry Letter 23...surprisingly it was the original by Shuggie Otis and not the more popular version by The Brothers Johnson. The bridge that contains "ohh ohh ohh's" are slightly different thus our unison wasn't on point...but who cares. It is just funny I guess. Ready to embark on a new adventure and life throw's some flashbacks to get me ready. The St. Louis greyhound sucks. Greyhound sucks. Everybody who rides it sucks. Last time on my way home from Louisville I sat across from a young man (had to be about 19 or 20) and his pregnant around the same age girlfriend. Dude actually had "Juggalo" in Old English tattooed across his neck. We got into downtown St. Louis and woke his girlfriend up...he said, "Look baby!! ST. LOUIS!! It is so pretty..." FML

Alright...Socialism

I'm sorry I haven't kept this blog the way I intended. I will hopefully post more mp3's in the future. For now, I need to rant a little bit.

Last week, a friend of mine sent me a text message urging me to check out a video called "The Obama Deception" on YouTube. Before I continue I would like to state this buddy of mine was home schooled, believes Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior, and for musical entertainment listens to artists who lean Pro-Choice i.e. Pearl Jam, Tool, Nirvana.

I check out the video, I automatically notice it is an InfoWars documentary. If you don't know what Infowars.com is...well, go check them out(it is basically Michael Moore on meth). They don't think too highly of George Bush either, and they think the 9/11 terrorist attacks where an act of the United States government. In the film they claim the Bilderberg group control our minds with their financial influence and are opposing on us a Socialist New World Order. The Bilderberg group, essentially from my research (using EBSCOhost, not WikiPedia) is just a bunch of rich Europeans and a few rich Americans who get together at hotel every year to discuss business.

They claim that before the most recent election, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton where at the meeting. Please. Continuing...

I run into my friend at a party and I tell him straight up the movie he recommended was pure garbage. The last time we had hung out we debated over a film called "What the bleep". He considered it very accurate and a mind fuck...I called it junk science. Back to the party, him and his brother are going at me, saying Obama is a huge socialist and we are doomed. I simply state factual information regarding the President's 70 odd days in office. Obama had nothing to do with the first stimulus bill, had nothing to do with the AIG and other's bailouts, and had nothing to do with the auto industry bail outs. That was President Bush. For those of you who watch VH1 reality and American Idol, President Bush, a self-proclaimed evangelical Christian tripled the size of government, spent your money (roughly 3 trillion by now) on two military occupations (not wars, wars have missions and are approved by Congress; not 'coalitions of the willing'). Now, in a nut shell...that sounds like SOCIALISM.

Socialism is nothing new in America, so before I tackle Obama, lets do a quick check list.

George Bush:

Dumped tax dollars into our Public Education system via a program that most schools were inadequate to handle called the no child left behind act (1 for Socialism).

Spent trillions of dollars battling boogy men who hide in caves plotting to attack us because we love freedom (2 for Socialism).

Along with Dick Cheney and John Ashcroft started a prison camp for detainees who were suspected of terrorism (3 for Socialism).

Passed the Patriot Act essentially overnight which stripped Americans of all their freedom (4 for Socialism).

Threw Habeous Corpus out the window during a time of "war" (Hitler, a socialist also did this 5 for socialism).

Now, all 5 of these things had happened before Bush ran again for Office. No one cried Socialism then did they? Before you freak out. I voted for Bush. Why? I thought maybe he'd start fighting the war the way it needed to be fought (a surge did take place, and it was a good thing). He wasn't going to raise my taxes, and to be honest...John Kerry is 100 times the elitist rich kid fuck disconnected from the American Public than Bush could have ever been.

I supported my President not out of Nationalism, not out of Patriotism, and not because I love Jesus...I simply voted for him because America needs someone who does what they say they are going to do the majority of the time. Granted Bush failed miserably at this, I honestly think without Bush in office again, John Kerry would have ran this country into the ground a lot harder. Kerry ran on Gay Rights and nothing else. Flip flopped on every issue during debates, and picked the slime John Edwards for his VP. (Palin one upped the 2004 race for WTF are you seriously trying to be president if he dies).

I never supported the Iraq war. After 9/11, we should have went into Afghanistan (were the Taliban an Al Qaeda where believed to be known) and dropped everything we had on them. George Bush should have got on TV the next day and said, "If you fuck with us again, we will make what happened in Afghanistan look like a picnic"...Instead, Bush made our good boys and dikes look like the most disorganized, pathetic military force in the world.

That rant is over. Back to Obama being a socialist. Hopefully you have an ounce of integrity and can label Bush a fiscally irresponsible liberal. I'm not going to call him a Socialist because if any American President is going to be labeled that, he is going to have to be labeled that based on his administration and facts. FDR started the New Deal which has birthed all of our Social Programs that barely prove to work. Social Security, Welfare, Labor Laws, Minimum Wage, and the list goes on. FDR was in theory, a 'socialist'. I really feel that I don't have to elaborate on this anymore. Obama ran a campaign on cutting taxes on the middle class and taking a 2 percent increase on Federal Income Tax on those who make 250,000 dollars annually or more. Sound familiar? Bill Clinton did the same thing and that was the only time in American History post deficit 19th century this country had a surplus. (Republicans also ran congress at this time but all they really did was get Clinton to sign a bill that limited welfare benefits).
,br>All I'm saying to all you fucking idiots out there, give Obama a chance. He is going to do somethings with your tax dollars that might prove to be beneficial in your lifetime. Clean energy, mandating the auto industry to make electric cars, investing in wind power and clean coal technology, improving the road systems, lowering health care costs and keeping it privatized, and the list goes on. All these social programs will put Americans to work and create jobs that will stay in America. You can export a wind power technician to Mexico...the wind mill will always be in America. Improving the highway infastructure would create great jobs with benefits for decades to come. In other words if you got hired by the Missouri dept. of Transportation, it would be a hard working life long job like our Grandparents used to work...a NEW MIDDLE CLASS. Is that really socialism? I don't think it is. It doesn't sound like new social programs, it sounds like government spending to uplift our dying middle class.

I am a staunch libertarian and voted for Barack Obama. I believe he could possibly do some things that might not be economically sound, but we are all in a tough bind at the moment. I mostly voted for him because of his social views regarding decriminalizing drugs, gay rights, the wars, and blah de dah...

I took it very easy today. Just got done touching up this beat. It isn't anything special but this is the beginning of my blog. For some reason I decided to create blog posting any musical creations I did for the day. I create something new everyday so why not document it, my feelings and observations, etc. Gives me something to do, hopefully I'll be able to look through here everyday and see some progression in my work. I'm always working on this stuff. I'm slowly on my way back to show circuit. Maybe just once a month to start, twice a month. Have to see people's reactions first. I shouldn't play down here in Festus anymore. That is just a mistake waiting to happen.

I'm ready to start working hard on this. Get a professional website, cd's pressed, shirts, a string of shows, a second job to pay for all this shit, good marketing and promoting, free all white cd-r's in white cases with a flyer printed to it.

I've got the songs ready almost too. Either way, will come back tomorrow. Enjoy cheap rum.
